By exploring different varieties of English beyond the standard American versus British English, as well as different accents and styles of speaking from around the globe, you can gain confidence in your own speaking and listening abilities and be prepared to encounter any kind of English you might hear. This course will feature guest speakers from different countries and English-speaking regions, and we will spend time learning about different cultures, "blending" techniques (such as Spanglish and Denglisch), and much more.
